Ways of working

We’d like to see each patient regularly for a periodic check-up. During this check-up we discuss your daily oral care to ensure that your teeth and mouth remain healthy. If necessary, we will tell you how you could improve your oral hygiene.

If problems are discovered during the check-up, the dentist will discuss whether additional treatment is necessary.

The dentist will also discuss:

• The expected results
• The risks of treatment
• The amount of treatment(s)
• The duration of the treatment
• The cost of the treatment
• Alternative treatment

Minor procedures will be discussed with you immediately, if necessary treatment will follow as soon as possible. This could include a simple dental cleaning or fillings. For extensive treatment we will inform you regarding costs. Only after your consent, we will carry out the agreed treatment. This can generally be done within a few weeks.

We store the information about your teeth and the history of the treatments in our computer. Naturally, this system is well secured. We keep the data for at least 15 years. At your (written) request, we can also forward your data to another practitioner.
